Starter Ideas: 

Mix 2 parts of Texas Craigs Seasoning with 1 part salt for burgers, fries & popcorn.  "Mix Well"


  • Great on hamburgers - Liberally apply to both sides of patty and rub seasoning into meat before cooking.

  • French Fries - Shake off excess oil from frying then sprinkle the fries with seasoning while fresh and hot.

  • Popcorn - After popping, apply seasoning to taste.


  • Grill

Marinade - 1 cup Italian Dressing with 1/3 cup Texas Craigs seasoning (mix well). 

Place veggies in a bowl or bag with marinade and shake to coat (marinate 30 minutes then grill).

  • Saute

Melt butter in skillet, chop veggies into one inch pieces, place in skillet with hot butter and sprinkle with Texas Craigs seasoning to taste, cook to desired tenderness.


  • Rub Texas Craigs seasoning on both sides of steak and marinate for 30 minutes then grill.


  • Mix 2 parts Texas Craigs seasoning with 1 part sea salt (mix well) then rub seasoning on steaks, marinate for 30 minutes then grill.

Baked Potato

  • Mix 1/3 cup Texas Craigs seasoning with 1 cup sour cream (place in fridge for 1 hour). Serve this with your baked potato instead of plain sour cream.

Texas Craigs - Fire Crackers

  • Whisk 1/2 cup vegetable oil with 3 tsp. each ranch & italian dressing mix and 3 tbsp. of Texas Craigs seasoning (true firecracker spicy version) use less TC for a milder snack.  Pour mixture in a gallon zip lock bag and add 2 1/2 tubes of a one pound box of Ritz crackers and seal. Turn the bag over and over to coat all of the crackers and continue to turn every hour for about 3 hours then refrigerate. Refrigerating seems to lock in the flavor. Crackers can be placed in a container now and enjoyed. Emphasis on the enjoy, it's like a potato chip "you can't eat just one".


  • Several have asked for a turkey cooking recipe. Well here you go............

    1 bottle of Creole Butter injection marinade
    1 small bottle of Worcestershire
    1 small bottle of Louisiana Hot Sauce
    Blend these together and inject all of it in the turkey

    Rub turkey with your choice of oil or butter. Season entire turkey with Texas Craigs seasoning

    Smoke, roast, bake or fry until done. ENJOY!!!!

Texas Craigs Breakfast Casserole

  • 12 eggs, 16 oz of diced ham, ¼ cup of milk, 12 oz shredded cheese, ¼ cup chopped onion,      1 chopped jalapeno, ½ teaspoon TEXAS CRAIGS SEASONING.  Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all ingredients together and place in a well greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 40 minutes. Makes about 12 low carb servings.

Texas Craigs Campfire Pasta

  •  2 lbs hamburger meat, 10 oz. can of Rotel (mild), 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese, 15 oz. can Whole Kernel Corn (drained), 24 oz. jar of Ragu Sauce (any flavor), 1 white onion (chopped), 2 Tbs. TEXAS CRAIGS SEASONING (3 Tbs for a hot flavor), 16 oz. box Medium Pasta Shells.                                                                                                                      Brown your hamburger meat and onion together then drain the grease. Add Rotel, Corn, Ragu and TEXAS CRAIGS SEASONING to the meat and simmer on low for 20 minutes. Prepare pasta shells per box instructions and drain while meat is simmering. Pour pasta into a large pot or bowl then add 4 oz. mozzarella cheese and stir. Add hamburger mixture to your pasta then add the remaining 4 ozs. mozzarella cheese, stir until all ingredients are mixed well.  Serves 10-12 people or 8 real hungry Texans............... 

Sweet Potato & Cabbage - Crock Pot Style             

  •  1 lb. peppered bacon, 1 head of cabbage chopped, 2 white onionschopped, 3 sweet potatoes peeled and sliced in rounds, 1 tsp. garlic salt, 1  tsp. Texas Craigs Seasoning.      

 Cut the bacon into pieces and brown, drain the grease and set aside for later. Place bacon into bottom of crock pot. Add the remaining ingredients in this order (cabbage, onion, sweet potatoes, garlic salt, Texas Craigs). Pour bacon drippings over the top. Place crockpot on high for 4 hours, remove lid and stir...ENJOY

 Texas Craigs Spring Time Burgers

Now that grilling season is upon us, here is a tasty way to start some spring time outdoor cooking.

  • 1 lb. hamburger meat, 1 lb. breakfast sausage, 1 tbs. Texas Craigs Seasoning,                    1/3 cup Texas Craigs Bold BBQ Sauce, 1 egg, 1/2 cup finely chopped onion.

Combine all ingredients then form patties to desired size. Makes 8 quarter pound patties or 4 half pound patties.

Grill & Serve

Toast your hamburger bun adding cheese to make an even better burger.

Texas Craigs Chalupa’s

  • 8 corn tortillas, 16oz package of shredded cheese, 1 cup chopped onion, 1 can bean dip, 1 teaspoon Texas Craigs seasoning

Using a small amount of oil fry tortillas in a skillet until they are crispy.  Set aside to drain

Combine onion, bean dip and seasoning in a small skillet.  Heat on med setting until hot.

Place cooked tortillas on large baking sheet. Spread bean mixture on all 8 tortillas evenly.  Add 2 oz shredded cheese to each tortilla.

Place pan in oven and broil until cheese is melted.

You can kick these up a notch by adding sliced jalapenos and chopped fajita steak or chicken.

 Pork and Gravy - Texas Craigs Style

  • 1 - Pork Butt Roast 8 to 10 pounds

  • 1 - Can flaky biscuits

  • Milk, oil, butter, Texas Craigs, Maple Jalapeno Seasoning (Cabelas), flour, salt and pepper

Liberally rub pork roast with Texas Craigs Seasoning and place in crock pot adding no additional liquid.  Cook on low 8 to 10 hours until done.

Remove pork roast when done and slice or shred.  Save natural juice.

Place biscuits in oven to cook.  When done split them open and add butter inside.

Place 1/2 cup natural juice, 1/3 cup oil and 1/4 cup butter in a skillet and heat.  Once mixture is very hot begin adding flour slowly while whisking.  Do this until mixture begins to thicken.  Add about 1 and 1/2 cups of milk and continue to allow gravy to thicken. Add 2 teaspoons of maple jalapeno seasoning.  If gravy needs to be thinned do that by adding a little natural gravy at a time and whisk. Salt and pepper to taste.

Open a biscuit or two or three and place some pork roast on each one, slather with gravy and enjoy.
